You, oh world, have indeed captivated me, tried me, charmed me, disarmed me, never could I have understood your reality, the insight I now plead to have of your illusions. The hollowness beneath all this allure. The empty souls, and discontentment you breed. The idols in our hearts. My battle against your tricks is ongoing… I wish to never be a part of this so-called glory, your charms all around me, never to blind me. My return to my real home is as inevitable as death. Your annihilation isn’t too far away as well… this bitterness inside me is only to let you know- you and I aren’t here for too long. You go your way and I’ll go mine- for you’ve broken far too many hearts and dismantled far too many minds. Lost is the one who never looked beyond your facade. For running after you is like running after a mirage.
